New Employment Rates & Compensation Limits: 06.04.18 - 05.04.19

Every April, in order to take account of inflation, the UK government updates certain rates and limits which affect how much compensation can be awarded by an Employment Tribunal for particular types of claims.

We've created a handy table summarising these new rates and compensation limits from 6 April 2018 - 5 April 2019 inclusive.   We have also included the latest Vento bands for injury to feelings awards in discrimination cases.  To download a copy, please click HERE.

Any relevant HR policies should be updated to reflect these changes.

We hope you will find this table to be a useful reference tool. As always, if you have any queries on this or any other employment law issue, please do not hesitate to contact us.
